god i’m so tired of everybody’s bad faith interpretations of everything. where’s the trust. where’s the forgiveness. where’s the understanding that most things are complex and most people have many layers. and like the black eyed peas once said. where is the love
I know everyone says it’s best to just stick to “said” as a dialogue tag bc it disappears and that’s true and I mostly do but I want to take a moment for my all-time favorite dialogue tag, “lied.” Absolutely nothing hits like “‘I’m here to help,’ he lied.” NOTHING.
btw I know ppl on this site go on abt mutuals but if you are someone that shows up in my notes regularly who I don’t follow, I do notice and I am fond of you and if you reblog something from me I do think “YES I have pleased the follower with good taste”
